Rubber dams
Rubber dam is a new kind of Hydraulic buildings appearing with macromolecule synthetic material industrial development. The rubber dams are made of high strength synthetic fabrics and compound rubber supported by a frame and prefabricated rubber, riveted on the soleplate to form a sealed bag-shaped space inflated with water or air in droughts seasons to store water for industrial, agricultural and household water consumption. In rainy seasons, water contained in dam shall be discharged to help release floodwater from the river course. There are many advantages of rubber dam,such as short construction period ( 3-15 days for installation and the final work time limit is 3-6 months ), low project price and 30-70% less engineering budget than additional composite dam for cements, steels and lignums. Its features are long life, simplified maintenance and strong vibration resistance etc.
